Infrared products have been proven to have several health benefits, physically and mentally. The infrared sauna experience differs from the Finnish sauna experience, but they both have some similar health effects.

SAWO’s infrared products use the far-infrared, which has the longest wavelength penetrating the body deeper than the shorter infrareds. The far-infrared heats the muscles and body from inside out, making the sauna experience very different from a traditional Finnish sauna, which heats from the outside in. This typically results in very intensive sweating, cleansing the skin very efficiently, improving the recovery of the muscles and accelerating the blood circulation.

The air in infrared sauna is lower than traditional saunas, from 35-45°C to 55-65°C, because the panels do not heat the air as much as they heat the body. The infrared sauna is instantly ready after switching on, so no heating time. For the body to start the sweating it takes some minutes to sit in the sauna room, which the user can spend on calming and relaxing, while e.g., reading or listening to music.

Infrared Panels

The infrared sauna panels use far-infrared, and are placed on the wall at the back and leg height. The panels do not generate much heat and are fibre-coated, which make them safe from burning the skin. The panels are very cost-efficient as they are run on low power (170W) and are very easy to mount onto the wall with the cedar wood frames.

Infrared Backrest

SAWO’s infrared backrest is compact to take along everywhere! It generates far-infrared heat, which penetrates deeper into your body to soothe muscles, burn fats, detoxifies and relaxes body. Also when not turned on, it enhances the sitting posture and keeps your back in a better shape. The headrest has an adjustable height.
